All across the internet and beyond, FF7 is STILL recognized in one form or another, whether it be a simple cameo, as the butt of a joke, or whatnot... (newest on top)

Value=Dead, Filler, April 28th, 2006. By Bratkitty.

Cloud is hiding a secret from Tifa.... Good thing she's not a school girl =P

Dueling Analogs, #3, November 11th, 2005. By Steve Napierski.

How Aeris' death scene SHOULD have been handled!

Lowroad75, January 27th, 2007. By Carlos G.

Poor, clueless Eugene doesn't know the difference between "Cosplay" and "Foreplay". Though Natasha makes a great Tifa... =P

VG Cats, #202, June 26th, 2006. By Scott Ramsoomair.

It took THIS long for someone to make the Jenova/Jehova joke? Ah well, still funny; PRAISE HOJO!

Descendants of Darkness, vol 3, By Yoko Matshushita

In the background of a panel in the manga, the FF7 crew is just hanging around. I forgot where I got this screencap, so, apologies to whoever found this first.

XKCD, #299, August 6th, 2007. By Randall Munroe.

Yeah, there really ARE mods for this sort of thing. I don't have 'em here though. Now if only real life could be modded...

Mystic Revolution, Halloween filler, October 31st 2005. By Jen Brazas.

Yet another web-comic artist dressing up their characters like FF7's. But it's funny and well-done!

Dueling Analogs, #47, April 25th, 2006. By Steve Napierski.

Three men enter... none leave until someone gets their damn weapon off the ground!

Real Life, April 11th, 2007. By Greg Dean.

A rant more about the cheap-ass "Legend of Zelda" replica swords being offered, Greg also points out his disappointment towards the size of the "Full scale" Buster Sword replica =P

VG Cats, #179, December 5th, 2005. By Scott Ramsoomair.

A full-out ff7-parody that answers all our burning questions with one simple answer: Cloud is t3h cheap =P

God Mode Online, October 19th, 2005.  By Ryan Kerns

The God Mode crew DLs advent Children and decides to post spoilers on their gaming news website... Unfortunately, this act of sacrilege is detected by a malevolent force... heh.

The Wotch: CHEER!, Halloween filler, 2005.  By Tselsebar

Well, okay, I guess it's more of a "kingdom hearts" sighting, but, mweh. Two of the series's characters facing off in Cloud/Sephy costumes. (Funny thing, these girls dressed as Seph and Cloud look manlier than Seph and Cloud do anyway XD) If you go to the site, there's a wall-paper-sized version available for DL, too =)

Loserz, October 16th, 2002 by Erik Shoenik.

An out-of-continuity rant about AeriS's name.  Damn you Japanophile fan boys wanting AeriS to have a retarded-sounding name! (some comics not safe for school/work, fyi)

SNAFU!, October 10th, 2005 by David Stanworth

Yes folks, it's a penis joke.  On FF7-Universe.  PH34R T3H PHALIC!

Something Awful, Photoshop Phriday entry (Advertising in video games, I believe) by ModalAuxiliary.

Hahahahaha XD

...Sorry.  (hahahahahaha!)

Something Awful (again). Photoshop Phriday entry (I forget which one) by ElPolloDiablo.

Looks like this gentleman is ready for some civil-war-era omnislash action!

8-Bit Theater, episode 19. Copyright Brian Clevinger.

Cloud tries out to be one of the Light-Warriors... but he doesn't quite make the cut.

Exploitation Now!, January 21st, 2002. Copyright "Poe".

Some cute anime-chick wields a sword that would make Cloud Jealous... and ends up using his omnislash technique. (not shown here)

Megatokyo, Comic 112. Copyright Randy "Largo" Caston and Fred "Piro" Gallahger.

Largo is in need of some L337 weaponry to "Defeat the evil". While looking through an ally's stash, he comes across a familiar sword... (and there's an "Evil Dead" reference, too boot!)

Swords Online.

Someone actually MADE this life-size, 50-inch replica of Cloud's sword. It goes for about $300. GET YER GRUBBY PAWS OFF, IT'S MINE! Gee, I'm beginning to wonder what's more popular, FF7 or this damn sword...

StripTease!, October 31, 2001. Copyright Chris Daily.

The gang contemplates Halloween costumes, including a plethora of comic-book and video-game references, including Cloud's outfit. (Also shown: Lara Croft, Wolverine, Pikachu, Rosarch [From "Watchmen", one of the best comic-books ever made!], Witchblade, and a couple others I don't recognize)

Real Life, June 20th, 2001. Copyright Greg Dean.

Greg's fascination with swords takes a potentially dangerous turn when he acquires a certain sword for his collection. From here on out, it's shown in the background in his room on display (along with Link from LoZ ultimate sword and a Scotish Claymore!)

The Every Day Happenings of Weeble, December 10th, 2002. Copyright J. Picking.

Labeled as a "Scathing satire", this episode of Weeble and Bob craps more on rpgs in general than ff7.. but hey, a weeble egg with Cloud's hair is good enough for me =P

VGCats, October 27th, 2003. Copyright Scott Ramsoomair.

Uhm.... All I can say is... Uhm.... heh. I love this comic =P

Flash Flash Revolution: FF7 Boss battle theme, Stepfile by Synthlight

A great online ffr clone, they've included the theme to FF7s boss battle. It's tough, so be careful. You have to register to play, but I wholeheartedly recommend doing so!

Penny Arcade, Copyright "Tycho" and "Gabe"

Probably one of the best webcomics out there, PA parodies ff7 early in its career with this strip here. So uhm, yah.

Whatever, (C) Eliot Lucas

This is a rather fun comic. This particiclair strip is kinda bleh, but it's further proof that Cloud Pwnes Squall, so it's good in my book!

Chocobo Remix. Remix by Joe Redifer, Flash by Legendary Frog.

The song, by itself, is greatness. LF made it better. Includes all the characters of FFs 4-10, and has an 8-bit theater-esque "preloader". Check it, it's funny shit!

Bob and George, Halloween '03. Copyright David Anez.

Who'd a thunk that MegaMan sprites would make such good final fantasy characters?

Bunny, Copyright Lem

AGAIN with the damn sword! Actually, I'm not sure that's Cloud's, or if it's just a generic huge-ass-sword with two holes in it... but mweh. Bunny's an awesome webcomic. You must go read =P

Penny Arcade, Copyright "Tycho" and "Gabe"

Another PA strip. Less about ff7 than it is abut the general horrors of not having a full save card... but hey, they could have chosen ANY game to talk about, but chose ff7. Beautiful =P

Falcon Twin, Brenden Mecleary

Another webcomic Halloween strip. Anyone ELSE catching a pattern here? =P

KINGDOM HEARTS: Throughout the game, Sora, Donald and Goofy get to meet Aeris, Yuffie (Who's chilling with that pansy from FF8) and Cid; Sora also gets to fight Cloud(!) and Sephiroth(!!) Even better (or worse, depending on your perspective), in the redone Japanese version, there's a Cloud vs Sephiroth segment! Awesome!

FF9: In one scene, One of the characters spies the buster sword on a wall, and the main character notes that he saw a guy with spiky blonde hair with one of these. Also, there's a line "No Cloud, no squall shall stop us". Here's a screencap, courtesy of Honylynx.  Thanks, you're wonderful!

Ergiez: A fighting game for the playstation, it featured Cloud, Sephiroth, and Tifa as characters, along with Yuffie, Vincent and Zack as hidden characters.

FFTacticts: In case you didn't get the memo, You can get Cloud into your party near the end of the game... But I hear he kinda sucks (something like it takes 10+ turns to charge up his omnislash, he starts @ level 1 when all your other guys are level 80-90 something, etc...) Aeris also makes an apperance... and they meet!  aaww! (Screenshots nabbed from FF7 Citadel, HI!)

Chocobo Racing: I guess you can get Cloud as a rider, though I've never seen this.
